The extensive range is complimented with the supply of adhesive products, tools and mitre boxes to ensure a quality finish.
The Quality of the Product is determined by the Method of Polystyrene Production.
1 NMC PRODUCT: 75KG P/M3
Raw material is processed through an extrusion machine, and the process is continuous and is injected in liquid form, under high pressure, through a mould, and becomes solid, after passing under water. The products are tempered for 10 days after production, in a temperature-controlled environment, ensuring there is no shrinkage. ISO 9001 approved ensuring superior quality. The product is easy to cut, sand and requires no or minimal painting.
2 LOCAL PRODUCT: 25-30KG P/M3
The polystyrene balls are placed in a mould. Steam is injected into the mould. The styrene melts to take the shape of the mould. When you sand or cut this profile the polystyrene balls will separate, making it difficult to patch and deliver seamless joints.
3 LOCAL PRODUCT: 20-30KG P/M3
A low-density polystyrene block is used and cut into a profile by using a hot wire. Rough texture and difficult joints make for inferior aesthetic finish. A number of coats of paint are required to hide the look of the rough polystyrene and the product is thin, fragile and easily breakable.
